This book has been on my TBR since it first came out back in 2021. Not a super long wait, but I’m glad I’m finally hunkering down and reading it. I’m about a quarter of the way through, and stuff is happening. And, the MC…let’s just say she is b i t t e r.

I was so looking forward to One By One because I had never read Ruth Ware before. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Thankfully, it hasn’t put me off from reading more of Ware since the writing is quite good. You can read the full review here.

The one and only novella: I heard so many good things about this time-travel love story. After I finish The Wife Upstairs, I think I’ll be needing something non-thrillery (take a break from all the shitty people doing shitty things), and this one seems like the next best thing.
